Day 1: Transfer, Spa, Welcome Dinner (D)
Today is about pampering you and luxuriating in Tuscan hills! From the moment your transfer begins in Siena, you will be transported through the heart of Tuscany and arrive in Bagno Vignoni, a magical town whose main square is entirely composed of thermal waters. Enjoy the spa of mineral waters and hydromassage and then be warmly welcomed at a dinner of Tuscan specialties in this truly unique town.
Day 2: Artisan Workshop, Natural Thermal Waters, Town Exploration (B,L,D)
If you ever wanted to live in the ideal village for a day, this is your day! We will start by learning about cooking with Italian herbs and make your own cooking and herbal tea mixes. Enjoy a lovely Tuscan lunch and then wander the boutique-lined streets or go on a small trek to the thermal baths. Enjoy dinner al fresco with wonderful views.
Day 3: Trekking in Val d’Orcia, Lunch at Farmhouse, and Evening in Pienza (B, L)
Set out for our short hike in the morning sun through picturesque rolling hills and stand in awe at the iconic Tuscan scenery. Upon arrival in Pienza, you will be treated to local specialties including its famed pecorino cheeses. The evening is free to explore Pienza lauded as the most beautiful town in the area with its romantic streets surrounded by hills and framed by olive groves.
Day 4: Walking tour of Pienza, Cooking Class, Artist Studio and Painting (B, L, D)
Today is your Renaissance, a day designed to learn and to create. This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of Pienza. Then head to our cooking class where we will create and enjoy local specialties of Tuscany. In the early evening, we will travel to a village and meet with a watercolor artist who will share her story and studio tour. We will create our own Tuscan- inspired watercolor painting and enjoy dinner.
Day 5: Tuscany’s Wine Towns, Family Vineyards, Olive Oil Tasting and Lunch (B,L)
You will delight in the rolling hills of Tuscany, their enchanting wine producing villages, and the grapes that conspire to make the best wines in Tuscany. We will explore Montalcino, particiapte in an olive oil tasting followed by a sprawling lunch. At our favorite family-run vineyard we will taste incredible wines in the world. Later we will delight in Montepulciano known for its Renaissance palazzi and elegant architecture.
Day 6: Waterfall Hike, A Hilltop gem, and Pottery Studio & Painting (B, D)
We start this glorious morning by enjoying a hike among waterfalls, quaint bridges, and turquoise waters. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore a town known for its small museums and artisans workshops. In the evening, we introduce you to our friends and explore their pottery studio as they share their story. We will paint a piece of our own pottery and celebrate our farewell dinner.
Day 7: Transfer and Guided Tour of Siena (B, L)
You will transfer to Siena where our guide will await us. Our tour will begin the Campo, arguably one of the most beautiful piazzas in all of Italy. Shaped like a seashell, this piazza houses Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia. Of course, Siena is also known for its Palio horse race and its contradas (neighborhoods) and our guide will provide a fascinating tour of its history. We will enjoy one last sumptuous meal together in a lovely restaurant in the heart of Siena and then say arriverderci. For your next adventure, we will connect you with one of our partners, take you to the train station, or arrange for private transfer.

Food and Wine
As Italy is known for their wines, this trip in Tuscany happens to be in one of the best wine producing ares of Italy. We will be learning about wine and enjoying it will be paired with our lunches and dinners each day. The wines we will be enjoying are Tuscan wines which we hand select and support the local economy.
Accommodations
The accommodations Emilia’s Italy selects are designed for guests to enjoy the local characteristics of each town we visit and stay and take advantage of the surrounding areas. Our accommodations are modern, have wifi and air conditioning, private bathrooms, wonderful breakfasts, and lovely views.

Booking is easy – select your date in the box below then select and your room by using our booking form. Beyond the $500 deposit we break the trip balance into 2 payments.
